Belgrano is one of the main commercial and residential districts in Buenos Aires. It is near the center of the city, where you can get by train, by bus or by subway. The trip by subway takes twenty minutes to Plaza de Mayo.
In Belgrano, you will find many shops, movie theaters, squares, green areas, restaurants, parkings, supermakets, gyms, banks, museums, schools, institutes, etc., and everything you need.
The "Barrancas de Belgrano", is one of the most famous places of the district. It was designed by a landscape artist called Carlos Thays and set on the former slopes of the river bank.
In the most prominent square, located in Juramento and Vuelta de Obligado, you will find a handicrafts open market during the weekends, where you will also see street artists and performers.
Unlike other touristic areas like San Telmo, it is also near the northern area of the Greater Buenos Aires, one of the most elegant areas in the riverside, where you will find our Delta, the widest in the world, with its islands and ships, its brooks, its prominent open market with regional products, and the opportunity to enjoy Nature. You can get there by the Coastline Train, a fantastic short trip through the coastal area.
Coghlan is one of the most elegant and residential areas of the district. It is a middle class neighborhood located close to Belgrano R. It was originally inhabited by Irish and English immigrants. It is a cozy and quiet bedroom community, known for its big English style residences.
Our neighborhood has an intense social life. Its associations and neighbors usually organize parties and festivals in the main square, surrounding the train station, where you have the chance to enjoy various concerts, dancings and "asados" with local people.
