Buenos Aires, its capital city, founded in 1580, has grown into a cosmopolitan metropolis with an incredible and lively night life and cultural history.
The climate is predominantly temperate (5-15° C in winter, 28-35° C in summer) and the official language is Spanish. Excellent inexpensive food and safe tap water are available everywhere.
